A policeman arrested naked in the middle of a “bad trip” because of hallucinogenic mushrooms.

The Epoch Time reports that on Sunday January 8, a policeman was arrested naked in Viry-Châtillon in Essone. Eight days earlier, he had consumed hallucinogenic mushrooms. He still hadn’t come down from his “bad trip”.
Last Sunday, a young man walking totally naked along a road in Viry-Châtillon was arrested after passers-by gave the alert, reported The Parisian. On the spot, the police indeed found the young man in the middle of a roundabout, with only shorts lowered to the level of his knees.
However, he himself was a policeman. At the Paris court, the young man, who was arrested for sexual exhibition and willful damage to public property, explained that he had consumed hallucinogenic mushrooms on New Year’s Eve eight days earlier.
He would not have since come down from his “bad trip”, he assured. When heard, his companion confirmed this assertion. During the search of their home, the police also found 7.3g of cannabis resin, reported South West.
His state of health having been deemed incompatible with his police custody, the young policeman was taken to the hospital. In the middle of the week, his police custody had still not resumed, said the Evry prosecution.
