SBF is the second largest donor after George Soros to the Democratic Party. It pumped $38 million into Democratic causes during the 2022 election cycle. Yet days after the midterm elections, SBF declared bankruptcy, costing investors millions of dollars without many options for appeal. SBF was arrested Monday night in the Bahamas, a day before he was due to testify before the House Financial Services Committee.

The US Department of Justice has charged SBF with wire fraud, securities fraud, and conspiracy to commit wire fraud and securities fraud. If charged, he could face up to 115 years in prison.

The lawsuit also alleges that Brady and O’Leary committed “false statements and omissions”, “marketing aggressively” lFTX’s “misleading” procedures.

Brady is in the midst of a divorce from model Gisele Bündchen, who has also featured in FTX commercials. The couple even took stakes in the company.
