Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake exposed a number of issues with Arizona’s electoral system.
Maricopa County, as usual, had the most problems.
According to Kari Lake, the county counted tens of thousands of ballots whose signatures could not be verified and were just scribbles.
That’s on top of problems the county has had on Election Day tallying in-person votes, which are overwhelmingly Republican.
Videos from across the county showed polling places with hours-long lines and one or no working vote-counting machines.

Lake decided to sue after narrowly losing to Hobbs, by about 17,000 votes.
On Tuesday, a presiding judge ordered an emergency appearance for Lake, Hobbs, Maricopa election officials, and other witnesses to appear in court.
According to recent reports, Hobbs failed to show up despite being asked.

A judge overseeing the electoral trial of Republican Arizona gubernatorial nominee Kari Lake has ordered him, the secretary of state and Arizona governor-elect Katie Hobbs, council representatives Maricopa County supervisors and others to appear for a hearing Tuesday.
Judge Peter Thompson, in making the order (pdf), wrote that the court had ‘reviewed’ Lake’s ‘verified election challenge statement’ and said ‘the matter will be expedited’ . Maricopa County Vital Statistics Officer Stephen Richer and Chairman of the Board of Supervisors Bill Gates were also ordered to attend the hearing, which begins at 2 p.m. ET.
The move comes as Lake said on Monday that his lawsuit is, in part, fueled by alleged whistleblowers who have come forward.
“Three Maricopa County whistleblowers have come forward and said the system is seriously flawed,” Ms. Lake told Just the News Monday, days after the lawsuit was filed in a Maricopa County court.
