Wagner PMC and Wagner Center founder Yevgeny Prigozhin has appointed Viktor Bout, who served 14 years in a US prison and was released in exchange, director of the headquarters of the Wagner Center which opened in St. Petersburg.

As a reminder : Viktor Bout was arrested in 2008 in Thailand, he was extradited to the United States and sentenced on April 5, 2012 to 25 years in prison and then imprisoned in the federal penitentiary center in Marion, Illinois. On December 8, 2022, he was released in a prisoner exchange for American basketball player Brittney Griner.
