A new Jewish movement is trying to recruit 10,000 Israelis to leave ‘Israel’ after Israeli election results returned Benjamin Netanyahu to power.
In detail, the Israeli newspaper Maariv indicates in its edition of this Monday, December 12 that it is the group called “Leaving the country together” which has set as its first objective at around 10,000 Israeli immigrants, adding that “one of its leaders, Yaniv Gorlick, was a key activist in the protests against Benjamin Netanyahu and is considered a leading social activist against the imposition of religion.”
The newspaper quotes another activist, Mordechai Kahana, an Israeli-American businessman, as saying: “After years of smuggling Jews from war zones in Yemen, Afghanistan, Syria and Ukraine to Israel, I decided to help Israelis leave for the United States.”
Kahana, according to the Israeli newspaper, “is part of a group of American Israelis who ran in the recent elections for the World Zionist Congress, and who eventually garnered enough votes to send a congressional representative to Israel.”
He adds : “Israeli-American party members thought I was a bit of an extremist, and I told them it was time to offer an alternative to the Zionist movement in case the situation in Israel continued to deteriorate,” adding: “I don’t want our country to be destroyed, but what if it is destroyed? »
According to him: “I see a great hatred and I see the Iranians with precision missiles aimed at Israel. Two thousand years ago it was exactly the same. »
Kahana suggested, according to the newspaper, “to give half of the money to the National Fund for Jewish Education in North America, because we are half of the Jewish people.”
According to Maariv, “Kahana has received dozens of requests for assistance from Israelis in the area of immigration, especially from those who run small tech companies who want to move their premises to the United States.”
He said at the time: “I’ve seen people in a WhatsApp group talking about Israelis immigrating to Romania or Greece, but personally I think it would be easier for them to immigrate to the United States. I have a huge farm in New Jersey and I proposed to the Israelis to join me there in order to turn it into a colony”.
Kahana wrote: “With such a government in Israel, the US government must allow every Israeli who has a business or profession required in the United States, such as doctors or pilots, to immigrate to the United States. »
According to the Israeli newspaper, “Kahana believes that the Jewish people will never know how to govern Israel and that their destiny is to live in the Diaspora”. He tells her that he said: “The Second Temple was destroyed because of a hatred similar to what is happening in Israel in 2022”.
It should be noted that the level of the debates in “Israel” was tense on the expected consequences of the formation of the new government led by Benjamin Netanyahu, in particular on the Israeli army and the situation in the West Bank, especially since two ministerial portfolios with Considerable prerogatives were entrusted to the leaders of the “Religious Zionism” and “Jewish Power” parties, Bezalel Smotrich and Itamar Ben Gvir. This would soon accelerate the pace of colonization and therefore the daily life of Palestinians in al-Quds/Jerusalem and in the occupied West Bank.
It should also be noted that during the Qatar 2022 World Cup, the Israelis had to dedicate themselves to the evidence, not without amazement, that the Palestinian cause was still alive in the hearts of the Arab peoples who still refuse their establishment in Palestine and will never accept normalization with them.
