“To all our friends, all over the world…. We are sad to inform you that our amazing, fierce and loving mother has passed away after a battle with recently discovered cancer.
She was surrounded by her closest family and fought with great strength, leaving us with the certainty of her eternal zest for life and the adventures that await. As iconic as she was on screen, she was an even more extraordinary mother and grandmother.
We are grateful to the incredible team of doctors and nurses at Moffitt Cancer Center for their care. Our mother’s joie de vivre and passion for life, her children, her grandchildren and her many animals, not to mention her eternal joy in creating, was unmatched and makes us want to live life to the full as she did. We thank you for your love and prayers and ask that you respect our privacy at this difficult time. »

“I now know why my personal friends who are walking in TOTAL TERROR of contracting Covid are simply CNN viewers! I decided to watch CNN myself to get their perspective and, oh my, I HAVE NEVER SEEN IT! IF YOU ALSO WANT TO LIVE IN TERROR, WATCH CNN! !! THE FEAR OF Dying IS THEIR MANTRA! OMG,” Alley tweeted.
