Rioters assassinated the intelligence chief of the Revolutionary Guards in Kermanshah.

The head of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) local intelligence unit, Nader Bayrami, was reportedly killed by rioters in western Iran’s Kermanshah province.
Protests have been ongoing in Iran since September following the death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini in police custody for improperly wearing the hijab.
The series of terrorist attacks against the security forces in Iran continues, with the martyrdom of the head of intelligence of the Revolutionary Guards, Colonel Nader Bayrami, in the city of Sahna, in the province of Kermanshah.
“A group of rioters and thugs, created chaos and attacked the security forces with edged weapons,” Sahna city governor Jahanbakhsh Zanganeh Tabar said in an interview with IRNA.
The Iranian governor added that “Colonel Bayrami was killed during this attack”, stressing that “those involved in his assassination were immediately arrested by the security services and brought to justice”.
This comes after two members of the Basigh Forces and two other members of the Border Guard Force were killed in two accidents in Iran yesterday Thursday.
On Thursday, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian accused “Israel” and Western intelligence agencies of planning to divide Iran in order to provoke a civil war,” stressing that “the Iranians will not be trained in such plots.
Earlier yesterday, the commander of the Revolutionary Guards in Iran, Major General Hossein Salami, said that his country “witnesses a great conspiracy against its people, at the forefront of which are deceived people who have become agents of the enemy in order to sow discord”.
Major General Salami added, in a speech, that “the enemies of Iran today are heading towards the war of martyrs”, noting that “all the demons of the world have gathered against Iran, namely America, Britain, France, Germany, the Zionist entity, Saudi Arabia, and others. »
Al-Mayadeen’s correspondent quoted security sources as saying that “the rioters have started a new phase of action aimed at starting an internal armed war in Iran”.
